We've been doing this long enough to know that having two photographers is necessary for your wedding day which is why we're both included in every collection. We operate extremely well as a team, balancing each other's strengths and weaknesses, providing you an unparalleled experience. Being husband and wife adds a special touch in many ways on your wedding day.

We give verbal direction that creates natural movement and organic moments to avoid you feeling stiff, confused, or awkward. We are posing professionals and make taking photos fun!

We understand the weight of your wedding day and everything it means to you. We don't consider your day a photoshoot, but a day full of once in a lifetime moments. There's a time to create epic portraits, and there's a time for us to stand back and discretely document you, your loved ones, and your story.

Our photos are full of energy, emotion, style, and storytelling. We're inspired by music, architecture, movement, marriage and family. Aesthetically speaking, our editing style is true to the light, color, and feel of your wedding day. We steer clear of editing trends you'll regret 10 years from now.
THERE ARE MANY GREAT PHOTOGRAPHERS
We met at church in 2015 and became fast friends. We started dating February 18th, 2017 (the day after Lexie photographed her first wedding) and we were married 9 months later. Nick joined our business in 2020, and just as Lexie did, immediately fell in love with documenting weddings. As creatives who value marriage, family, tradition, music, design, etc., wedding photography is what we're made for.
We have 4 amazing children and enjoy living life and raising them in Kansas City. Our family is our favorite thing and our "why" behind everything we do.
For fun, we like to travel, attend concerts, watch live music, eat good food, and spend time with our family on both sides (our siblings are our friends and the same goes for our kids and their cousins).
Living in Kansas City allows us to enjoy the face-paced city vibes of downtown on a Friday night while working towards building our forever home on land with cows and chickens. We get the best of both worlds here and don't see ourselves ever moving. Although, winters in Florida are definitely a goal.
Nick is a musician at heart (drummer, bassist, composer). He also loves playing video games and eating the spiciest food on the planet. On wedding days, his laidback personality and fun-loving humor keeps everyone at ease. He's stealth with a camera and captures the moments you miss on your wedding day.
Aside from photography, Lexie equally enjoys music as a singer, dreaming up new business ideas, and juggling mom and work life by drinking loads of coffee. On wedding days, she's an expert creative directing you into the best lighting and movement, and she has a gift for solving any and every problem.

HOW DO YOU TAKE YOUR COFFEE: My current morning coffee is iced, black coffee with an XL splash of half & half
GO TO ARTISTS ON SPOTIFY: Jacob Collier, Coldplay, The Cranberries, Lana Del Rey, anything 90s, Black Gospel, CCM.
HOBBIES: I spend most of my free time with my kids, but I also enjoy singing worship at church and in music Nick writes. I also like to cook and host friends & family, especially for Chiefs games!
SOMETHING ABOUT YOU PEOPLE WOULDN'T EXPECT: I'm a huge history buff and WWII is my main thing. I'm also into politics and meaningful policy discussion. I reserve politics for when I'm not working, though. :)
IDEAL VACA: Atelier Playa Mujeres - All-inclusive resort in Mexico with the kindest staff and most delicious food.
WEDDING DAY SUPERPOWER: In addition to being an expert in directing, posing and lighting, I love solving any wedding day problems such as hair/veil emergencies, navigating family dynamics, managing timelines, rain plans, etc. I'm a fixer and problem solver at heart.
FAVORITE FOOD: Chinese, Seafood, Italian, Very Spicy Food, Lexie's Cooking
FAVORITE STREAMING: Band of Brothers, Blacklist, Game of Thrones, The Witcher, Outlander
HOW DO YOU TAKE YOUR COFFEE: An Americano is my go to when ordering at a coffee shop, but if I'm at home, I drink it black.
GO TO ARTISTS ON SPOTIFY: Jacob Collier, Coldplay, Animals as Leaders, Snarky Puppy, a wide variety depending on mood
HOBBIES: After our kids go to bed, I'm usually playing video games or writing music. I've played in a variety of bands over the years both local and touring. We spend a good amount of summertime at my grandma's lake house fishing and boating.
SOMETHING ABOUT YOU PEOPLE WOULDN'T EXPECT: I'm also into history and politics and I'm pretty handy when it comes to building or fixing anything around the house.
IDEAL VACA: I agree with Lexie, Atelier Playa Mujeres - Our honeymoon was perfect!
WEDDING DAY SUPERPOWER: I'm pretty stealth with a camera and like to capture creative angles (especially with a drone) and sentimental moments you don't get to see until your wedding gallery. Example: While Lexie is photographing your first dance, I'm looking for your parents' and grandparents' reactions, etc. I also make it my mission to photograph as many of your guests as possible.
